The brutal slaughter of 11 people in Mexico has been blamed on a man who sought revenge against a woman he had raped years earlier. The woman was fatally shot on Thursday in San Jose el Mirador, as well as 10 members of her family. On Saturday, a Mexican official speaking on condition of anonymity said the woman's rapist was the prime suspect. The rape occurred several years ago but the woman reportedly had a child by her attacker. Five people survived Thursday's massacre and are now under government protection. The suspect's identity has not yet been revealed.
