The United Kingdom’s security service, MI5, has been deemed the country’s most gay-friendly employer, beating out 400 other organizations for the title. The survey, conducted by British LGBT organization Stonewall, was based largely on anonymous surveys of employees, and found that MI5 showed equality in 10 key areas, including its employee training and engagement programs. MI5 Director General Andrew Parker called the recognition “a great acknowledgement of the continued progress we have made.”
