The story of the brutal murder in Woolwich just keeps getting weirder. According to a childhood friend, one of the suspects in the case was asked to work for MI5 (James Bond's home base) six months ago. The suspect, Michael Adebolajo, reportedly turned them down. The friend also reported in a BBC interview that Adebolajo had been detained by troops on a visit to Kenya last year, at which time he was tortured. None of the claims have been verified, and immediately after the interview concluded the friend was arrested on suspicion of terrorist activity.
