Having held off just long enough so his mom could perform on Grammy night, rapper M.I.A.’s baby has arrived. The Sri Lankan performer gave birth to a boy on Feb. 12, Hollyscoop reports. (Her fiance, Benjamin Brewer, said she began having contractions before her Grammy performance last Sunday night and went to the hospital right after coming off the stage.) No word yet on the baby's name. Next on M.I.A.’s agenda? She is scheduled to perform a week from Sunday at the Oscars, where she is nominated for best song, but it’s unclear if she’ll keep the commitment.
