Another Tea Party Senate candidate bites the dust, though just barely: Democrat Michael Bennet was declared the winner of Colorado’s Senate seat on Wednesday morning over Tea Partier Ken Buck. Bennet just eked out the victory, with 47.5 percent of the vote compared to Buck’s 47.1 percent. That’s a margin of just 7,000 votes, with more still to be counted. If the margin drops to fewer than 3,900 votes, Buck will be entitled to a recount.
