Michael Brown’s stepfather apologized Wednesday for repeatedly telling a Ferguson crowd “burn this motherfucker down!” on the night it was announced a grand jury wouldn’t indict Officer Darren Wilson. Louis Head said his “emotions got the best of” him and “it was wrong, and I humbly apologize to all of those who read my pain and anger as a true desire for what I want for our community,” he said in a statement. Head, who chanted on top of a car alongside Brown’s mother, also said he’s unfairly being targeted as the source for rioting. Police said they were investigating Head for potentially inciting the riots that took place that night.
