Michael Flynn's son celebrated Special Counsel Robert Mueller's decision to recommend no jail time for his father on Twitter late Tuesday after a court filing revealed Flynn got off easy for providing assistance in multiple investigations. “God is good,” Michael Flynn Jr. wrote to his followers shortly after his father's sentencing memo was filed. “To those who have supported us throughout this process.... Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will never forget you,” he wrote. The memo states that Flynn has aided investigations “on a range of issues, including interactions between individuals in the Presidential Transition Team and Russia.” President Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, downplayed the idea that Flynn was assisting Mueller in any meaningful way, however. “If he had information to share with Mueller that hurt the president, you would know it by now,” Giuliani told NBC News.
