"We're going to do this together,” says filmmaker.
What took him so long? Ultra-liberal filmmaker Michael Moore rallied pro-union Wisconsin protesters on Saturday, amassing a crowd as he urged citizens to fight Republican efforts to derive workers of their collective bargaining rights. Moore's timely rally occurred shortly after Gov. Scott Walker threatened lay-offs starting a month from now if his "budget repair" proposal does not go through. "We're going to do this together. Don't give up," Moore told protesters. Meanwhile, Walker stressed that the bill is necessary to tackle a budget shortfall that could reach $3.6 billion by 2013.
