Michael Sanchez, Lauren Sanchez’s Brother, on Leaked Bezos Texts: ‘I’m Not Saying I Didn’t Do Something’

After sources inside AMI told The Daily Beast that Lauren Sanchez’s brother, Michael, gave the Amazon founder’s racy texts to the National Enquirer.

Days after The Daily Beast reported that sources inside AMI have claimed that Lauren Sanchez’s brother, Michael, was responsible for leaking her and Jeff Bezos’ sexts to the National Enquirer, Michael addressed the messages in a Thursday interview with Vanity Fair. While he flatly denied passing on any of Bezos’ “dick pics,” claiming that he “never had access” to them, he wavered when asked about leaking the couple’s intimate sexts. “I’m not saying I didn’t do something,” Sanchez said. “Until I go under oath, what I can tell you now is that ever since April 20, when I met Jeff, my only goal has been to protect Jeff and Lauren.” Michael Sanchez also claimed that Bezos and his security consultant, Gavin DeBecker, tried to frame the leak as a politically-motivated attack to distract from his infidelity. But as the Daily Beast reported, Sanchez already said he believes AMI pursued the story to please President Trump, who is a vocal Bezos critic.
