Michael's Final Tour Costumes Revealed

If there was ever any doubt as to whether the King of Pop would bid his fans adieu in style, rest assured that the wardrobe for his This Is It tour was chock-full of bells and whistles—and epaulets, of course. Costumers Michael Bush and Dennis Tompkins worked with Michael Jackson to re-create each and every infamous get-up for the 26 songs he planned to perform. What would we have seen in addition to the requisite crystal glove? A revamped Thriller jacket with fiber-optic lights sewn in that were timed to the music, a military-themed piece for “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You,” and a Billie Jean suit outfitted 7.5 lbs of Swarovski crystals and 60 lights, just to name a few. “I get goose bumps thinking about what this visual was going to look like,” Bush said.
