Michigan GOP Uses Fashion Magazines to "Understand Women": On Thursday afternoon, a reporter covering politics in Michigan snapped a rather sexist photo of three of the state’s GOP members reading women’s magazines, posting it to twitter with the caption, “@MIHouseGOP members Victory, Pettalia, and Glardon: ‘Don’t say we don’t understand women.’” Jezebel reporter Erin Gloria Ryan responded, highlighting the Michigan Republican House's "understanding" of women who become pregnant as a result of rape, passing some of the country’s strictist laws against pregnancy termination. They have also scolded Democratic women for using the word “vagina” during debates on heath care. You’re right, fellas. You really do understand women. [Jezebel]
“Black Widow” Wants Gucci Back: Patrizia Reggiani may have been imprisoned for hiring a hitman to murder her former lover, Maurizio Gucci, in 1998, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t still love his family’s company (or at least all the money that comes with it). “I dream of returning to Gucci,” she said in hopes of snagging a job at the Italian fashion house. “I still feel like a Gucci—in fact, the most Gucci of all. I have the qualifications—for years I went shopping around the world. I came from the world of jewels and it is to that world I want to return.” [Vogue UK]
Cressida Bonas to Star Alongside Cara Delevingne in Feature Film: It seems that Cressida Bonas is finally making a name for herself without Prince Harry. New speculation names the younger prince’s former girlfriend as the most recent actress cast in Harvey Weinstein’s next major motion picture, Tulip Fever, based on Deborah Moggach’s 2000 period novel. “They’ve cast actual models like Cara [Delevingne] and Daisy [Lowe] to play the artists’ models and for the part of the society lady they’ve cast Prince Harry’s ex,” a source told the London Evening Standard.
