Microsoft is partnering with a California-based startup to create software for managing marijuana distribution and commerce. Kind Financial works to help track from “from seed to sale.” With the deal, Microsoft becomes one of the first major publicly traded corporations to take advantage of marijuana’s legalization. Legalized marijuana sales are projected to measure $6.7 billion this year, according to ArcView Market Research.
