Miley Cyrus' Dad Billy Ray and Mom Tish Cyrus Divorce
After 17 years of marriage.
Miley Cyrus is dealing with something other than negative media attention for her promiscuous image—her parents are divorcing, People revealed Wednesday. Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus—who is not only Miley’s father, but also her Hannah Montana co-star—and the pop star’s mother, Tish Cyrus, filed for divorce in Tennessee after 17 years of marriage. The two have five children, including Miley. In a statement, the couple said: "As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family. We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers."
