Mining is just as dangerous in 2011 as it was in 2010: At least 15 people died Wednesday in a coal-mine explosion in northeastern Colombia. The explosion appears to have been caused by a buildup of methane gas. Rescuers are still searching through the rubble for victims and survivors.
