The reigning Miss Puerto Rico was suspended Monday after a Twitter fight with director Michael Moore, in reaction to his “We Are All Muslim” campaign. Clad in dangling earrings and a hair pouf, Destiny Velez ranted, “Muslims use our constitution to terrorize USA & plant gas stations.” She added, “all what Muslims have done is provided oil & terrorize this country & many others!” The Miss Puerto Rico Association has issued a statement announcing her termination, leading to Velez’s apology shortly afterward.
