Maybe you didn’t see Mercury travel across the Sun’s diameter. Luckily, NASA recorded it.

Last month, Mercury passed directly between the Earth and the Sun for the first time in almost a decade, visibly crossing the Sun’s diameter. It’s an event that happens only about 13 times per century, and if you missed it you’ll have to wait another three years.

Fortunately for those of us who don’t frequently look at the Sun, NASA recorded extremely high-resolution footage of Mercury’s transit, so you can watch it on their website or in the video above—without even burning your eyes out.
