Five days after she disappeared from her neighborhood in Winter Springs, Florida, Nadia Bloom was found alive in an alligator-infested swamp. Search crews, who could not land a helicopter on the swamp, carried her out through the difficult terrain where the water is up to six feet deep and the mud can reach five feet. Bloom, 11, is believed to suffer from a mild form of autism. She was found tired, hungry, and covered in bug bites.
