Missing Actress Quit Taking Her Meds

Disappeared in “psychotic” state.

There is still no sign of 32-year-old actress Misty Upham, who is known for her roles in August: Osage Country, Django Unchained, and Frozen River, after her father reported her missing on Monday. Upham, who departed her sister’s apartment on October 5th in a “psychotic” state and exhibiting “erratic” behavior, had recently stopped taking her medication for anxiety and bipolar disorder. Local police do not consider her endangered since her disappearance is not “unexplained, involuntary, or suspicious.” Her father, however, is pleading publicly for help as he believes she is either wandering incoherently or being held against her will.
