A woman who went missing from a Boston bar Saturday night has been found alive in Charlestown—and the man who was with her has been charged with kidnapping, ABC5 Boston reports. Olivia Ambrose, 23, was reportedly located by police in 38-year-old Victor Pena’s apartment Tuesday. Cops quickly arrested Pena, who was also in the apartment. According to Boston Police Commissioner William Gross, Pena could face additional charges. “We are beyond happy to have Liviy home,” her mother, Heather, told ABC5. “It's amazing. The Boston Police Department, as were the MBTA, the transit police, everybody. They couldn't have done more and we just want to say thank you. You can't describe it really, but just a huge relief, obviously.” Gross also told ABC5 she appeared to be in good physical health. “I can’t thank the public enough,” he said. “The Ambrose family— you never gave up on your sister, your daughter, your loved one—and the people of Boston never gave up either.” The arrest came just hours after police released photos of a man who was identified as a “person of interest” in the case, CBS Boston reports. Ambrose was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital for evaluation Tuesday night.
