The remains of the McStay family, who went missing from their home in February 2010, have been found in the southern California desert. Two skeletons found in shallow graves have been identified as 40-year-old Joseph and his wife, 43-year-old Summer. The two smaller skeletons found in a separate grave are believed to be their young sons, 4-year-old Gianni and 3-year-old Joseph Jr. The family’s death is an apparent homicide, said San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon, and there is “investigative evidence at the scene that will help complete the investigation.” There were no signs of forced entry at their home or in their SUV, which was found near the U.S.-Mexico border.
