The Japanese boy who went missing in a bear-filled forest last week has been found alive, officials say. Yamato Tanooka, 7, had been missing for six days after he was abandoned by his parents as a punishment. He was found by Japan’s Self-Defense Forces without injuries, but was taken to a hospital to be evaluated.
