The sixth installment of the action-thriller classic Mission: Impossible has topped the box office for the second week in a row, edging out the live-action Disney film Christopher Robin. USA Today reports that Mission: Impossible—Fallout earned an estimated $35 million in ticket sales this week, and has made $124.5 million domestically since its release. Winnie the Pooh revival Christopher Robin, on the other hand, grossed an estimated $25 million, despite the film’s $75 million budget. USA Today notes that this is unusual for the Disney franchise, whose films customarily debut in the No. 1 spot. A spokesperson for Disney told USA Today that not all Disney films needed to be blockbusters, noting that Christopher Robin is “one of our smaller films, and it’s really focused on character and emotion.”
