Faculty and staff from the University of Missouri are joining a student-led walkout, according to a letter released late Sunday. “We, the concerned faculty of the University of Missouri, stand in solidarity with the Mizzou student activists who are advocating for racial justice on our campus,” the letter said. Among other demands, student activists want University President Tim Wolfe removed from office. Numerous recent incidences of racial targeting have raised tensions on campus, including someone shouting the N-word at members of the Legion of Black Collegians and the reported smearing of a swastika in feces on a bathroom wall.
