Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens (R) has asked a judge to issue a restraining order against the state’s attorney general, Josh Hawley, who accused Greitens of misusing a charity donor list. Greitens’ attorneys are seeking to prevent Hawley from investigating the governor, who is under fire from members of his own party in the state to resign. His attorneys requested that a special prosecutor investigate the claims instead, because Hawley has publicly said Greitens should step down.
