On the heels of making history as the American Ballet Theatre’s first black principal dancer, Misty Copeland is headed to the Broadway stage. The 32-year-old ballerina is set to make her Broadway debut as Ivy Smith in On the Town in August. “We are so thrilled to have Misty joining us at this momentous time in her career,” producer Howard Kagan said Sunday night.
