Today, Mitt Romney showed the world he does have feelings after all. The Republican presidential candidate shared one of his favorite stories for an audience in Charlotte, N.C., of his niece and her deaf daughter receiving help from their neighbors. Mitt got choked up explaining how the story illustrates the American spirit. It's nice to see the typically stiff Romney show some emotion, but after a recent story about his prep-school days has created the image of him as a once and forever bully, it's hard not to wonder whether this sudden demonstration of humanity is an attempt to counter that impression.
