No surprise here: Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney announced Monday that he has formed an exploratory committee for the 2012 Republican nominee for president. Romney unveiled the move in a YouTube video on his official website. “President Obama’s policies have failed. He and virtually all the people around him have never worked in the real economy," Romney said in the video, swiping the president for his lack of experience in the private sector and boosting his own. Romney joins former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty in the early stages of the race; Pawlenty announced his own exploratory committee in March.
