Mitt Romney will announce his Senate run next week, UtahPolicy.com reported Thursday. The former Republican presidential candidate has long hinted at a run to replace Sen. Orrin Hatch’s (R-UT), who is set to retire after the end of his term. Romney also reportedly had a “strategy” meeting with “his most trusted advisers and a Utah political operative” earlier this week, according to Fox Business. Sen. Hatch said earlier this month that “if Mitt decides to run, he knows he’ll have my support."
