MLB Fires Executive Bob Bowman Over ‘Troubling Workplace Behavior’

Long-time Major League Baseball executive Bob Bowman did not resign on his own volition last month, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday. Instead, as it turns out, Bowman was forced out after “years of troubling workplace behavior.” Such antics reportedly included incidents involving women, heavy partying, and physical altercations—and, the Journal reported, fellow execs knew about this for about a decade. Bowman was the architect of MLB’s digital team, which former commissioner Bud Selig once praised as a “great success story.”
