Major League Baseball announced on Monday its punishment of the St. Louis Cardinals for its cyberattack targeting the Houston Astros. The Cardinals will be forced to relinquish two draft picks to the Astros, and will pay a $2 million fine. In 2015, a Cardinals team official was fired and later sentenced to nearly four years in prison after he was found to have breached the Astros’ network. The FBI and Justice Department launched a probe of the hacking incident.
