Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson didn’t let the heat stop him Saturday from marrying longtime boyfriend Justin Mikita in New York City. Playwright and screenwriter Tony Kushner officiated at the ceremony. Ferguson tweeted in the wee hours Sunday that he has “never been happier,” while his co-star Julie Bowen dubbed the nuptials “#bestweddingever.” The couple became engaged last year and had planned to marry in New York, because at the time it wasn’t legal to marry in California.
