Passengers slept on camp beds at Paris' Charles De Gaulle airport after half of all flights were canceled Thursday, partly because of a shortage of de-icing fluid. A fresh supply won't arrive until Monday, making the prospect bleak for Europeans hoping to make holiday trips. Hundreds of traffic accidents were reported across northern Germany, and people in Venice, Italy were evacuated from their homes because of flooding.
