Morgan Freeman’s step-granddaughter, E’Dena Hines, was allegedly stabbed to death in Washington Heights Sunday morning, according to police. The stabbing took place around 3 a.m. and a 30-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Hines was 33 years old. In 2009, tabloids had accused Freeman of having an affair with Hines, who is his step-granddaughter. In 2012, Freeman vehemently denied the accusations, declaring, “The recent reports of any pending marriage or romantic relationship of me to anyone are defamatory fabrications from the tabloid media designed to sell papers.”
