So it’s that’s simple. Following protests in Moscow that drew up to 100,000 people on Saturday, a spokesman for Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said that the government will not give in to protesters’ demands, but that they are open to dialogue. Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, “There are people who are genuinely discontented. But it’s not a crisis, absolutely not.” He added, “We need not to just hear and listen, but there should be an element of dialogue.”
