In an interview with Fox News on Sunday, Roxanna Green, the mother of 9-year-old victim Christina Taylor Green, spoke about her grief over the Tucson shooting. "I just can't even put it into words,” Green said, “I can't express the devastation and hurt and how we were so robbed of our beautiful princess.” Green died from a bullet wound to the chest after she attended the "Congress at Your Corner" event at a Tucson supermarket with a neighbor. The neighbor was shot four times and remains in the hospital. Green was recently elected to her elementary school student council and was interested in public service. Green was a ballerina, and the only girl on her Little League team, according to Roxanna. She hails from a family of baseball players—her father is John Green, the drafter for the L.A. Dodgers, and her grandfather, Dallas Green, is the former manager of the Philadelphia Phillies.
