Since Tuesday’s primaries, Canada’s been looking better and better to many Americans. Google says that night it saw a 350 percent increase in searches for the phrase “how to move to Canada,” while one other observer on Twitter estimated it at over 1,000 percent.
Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton both swept their respective parties’ primary contests on Tuesday, each winning seven states. Searches for the phrase were highest in Massachusetts, where Trump won by almost 50 percent and Clinton beat her opponent, Bernie Sanders, by a razor-thin margin.
