According to the Australian government, debris found on the beaches of Mozambique is highly likely to be from downed Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Darren Chester said the examination of the two pieces of debris had been completed. “That such debris has been found on the east coast of Africa is consistent with drift modeling performed by CSIRO and further affirms our search efforts in the southern Indian Ocean,” he said.
