Mozilla Releases Firefox 6

Mozilla is officially releasing Firefox 6, the latest version of its web browser, on Tuesday—although it’s been available online now for several days. The interface is the same as it was for Firefox 5, but the company says the new version is 20 percent faster. “If you're looking for a major face-lift to the desktop edition, you won't find one here—most of the new features aren't cosmetic,” Endgadget wrote over the weekend. Many of the advances are for the mobile version of Firefox that runs on Google’s Android platform.
