Special counsel Robert Mueller is adding more Department of Justice prosecutors to his investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election. The team is facing more court challenges than expected, officials told Bloomberg. His addition of more attorneys could be a sign he is preparing to pass parts of his investigation to others, officials told the outlet. He has already given the investigation into Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen to New York courts. Mueller’s team has spent $7.7 million since the probe began in 2017.
