The dream of techies everywhere has come true: Apple will soon be adding multitasking to the iPhone. The company unveiled iPhone 4 today, new software that will allow iPhone owners to run multiple applications at the same time. Users will be able to listen to music while they perform other tasks and they’ll also be able to freeze apps so that, when they reopen them, they’ll be in the same state they were when they were closed—useful for iPhone gamers. Other new features include: app folders for organizing your homescreen, a new mail app, iBooks, an advertising platform, and a centralized gaming service.
