A yacht reportedly rented by music producer Metro Boomin caught fire outside a riverside strip club on Sunday, drawing a flurry of onlookers in the wee hours of the morning. The 95-foot boat went up in flames just 30 minutes after docking at Booby Trap at around 3 a.m., according to reports. The club’s security director Michael Marhefka said that about 10 people were evacuated from the boat, including Metro Boomin, whose real name is Leland Tyler Wayne. No injuries were reported, according to Miami’s NBC6, and more than 30 units were used to extinguish the giant blaze. The outlet’s video also showed the boat turned upside down in the water in the morning, eventually sinking in the Miami River. Officials said the fire was difficult to put out due to the size of the vessel and fuel inside. Metro Boomin is known as one of the biggest producers in the industry, working with acts like The Weeknd, Young Thug, Travis Scott, and Future. An investigation is under way into the possible cause of the fire.
