N. Carolina Inmates Stab 4 Guards

Inmates reportedly assaulted two staff members, a lieutenant and a sergeant at the Lanesboro Correctional Institute in Anson County, North Carolina. According to authorities, the injuries sustained are "very bad" and one person was stabbed in the throat. Two of the victims were reportedly stabbed while the other two were assualted with a broom handle. The two stab victims were taken to a hospital for treatment and the others were treated on-site. The prison went on lockdown on Thursday after the incident.
