Rafael Nadal triumphed over Novak Djokovic for the men's title in the US Open final on Monday night. The Spaniard and the Serb faced off for the 36th time in their careers. Winning three of the four sets, Nadal took home his second U.S. Open win, and his 13th overall Grand Slam championship. This year alone, the star player has taken 10 tournament titles. "Playing against Novak is always a very special feeling and nobody brings my game to the limit like he does. Congratulations, you are an amazing player having an amazing career. I'm sure you will finish your career being one of the best in history," he said graciously after the match.
