Want to lounge in bed for 70 straight days, get paid $18,000, and score bragging rights that you helped astronauts go to Mars? NASA has announced a search for volunteers who can spend the 70 days doing whatever they'd like, as long as they remain in bed, heads tilted down at a six-degree angle. The study is seeking to identify the effects of microgravity on humans, and will simulate the duration of the spaceflight needed to bring astronauts to Mars in a few years time. "Couch potatoes is not an accurate description of what we are looking for," NASA's news chief says. "Subjects need to be very healthy.”
