For the first time in four years, NASA is seeking new astronauts for future missions. The openings are set to be posted online on December 14. NASA annual salaries range from $66K to $144K and the application deadline is February 2017, with final selections being made in May. The organization typically looks for eight to 14 new astronauts at a time but there is no current target number.
