Fans watching NASCAR’s All-Star Race on Sunday were treated to a fireworks show following the race—just not the kind they were expecting. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. threw a punch at Kyle Busch during a trackside confrontation, sparking a wild brawl that included both of the drivers’ respective teams. Ricky Stenhouse Sr. at one point attempted unsuccessfully to hold his son back from the scrap, and instead found himself sucked into the mess. The conflict broke out after a controversial start in which Stenhouse Jr. tried to pass his rival on the first lap, only for Busch to wreck Stenhouse’s car shortly after on the second lap. He was reportedly waiting for Busch following the race, according to The Athletic. Both drivers have had disappointing seasons so far—something Busch alluded to at one point during the fight. “Bring it! I don’t give a fuck,” Busch yelled at one point. “I suck just as bad as you! Let’s go!”
