Nashville Mayor Megan Barry’s son, 22-year-old Max Barry, died on Saturday in Denver of an apparent drug overdose, her office said. “We cannot begin to describe the pain and heartbreak that comes with losing our only child,” Barry and her husband said in a statement. “Our son was a kind soul full of life and love for his family and friends.” Barry graduated from the University of Puget Sound in May and had recently moved to Denver, the Tennesseean reported.
