Less than two months after Fox News fired Bill O’Reilly amid multiple sexual-harassment allegations, National Geographic Channel has decided to not move forward with the latest film project in the cable-news star’s Killing series. According to a statement from the network to The Hollywood Reporter, the film—titled Killing Patton and slated for a 2019 release—was dropped not because of O’Reilly’s firing but because “it was a difficult project to crack creatively.” The network elaborated: “Like most projects in development, it didn’t go the distance, so we passed on it.”
