On Wednesday, Fox News announced that they’re done with Bill O’Reilly following recent revelations of more sexual-harassment allegations and a massive advertiser boycott.
The National Geographic channel (which has made a killing off made-for-TV film adaptations of O’Reilly’s “Killing” book series, such as Killing Kennedy and Killing Reagan), however, has yet to sever ties. The channel is majority-owned by 21st Century Fox.
“Killing Patton is currently in early development for 2019 as has been widely reported,” a National Geographic spokesperson emailed The Daily Beast on Wednesday afternoon. “Tonight is our upfront and we’re focused on announcing our robust and exciting 2018 slate. We’re not making any decisions at the moment beyond our current upfront slate.”
