Thirty years after the actress Natalie Wood drowned off the coast of California, authorities aren’t so sure it was an accident after all. The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office is now re-categorizing her death as “undetermined.” That, combined with the fact that authorities are saying they won’t comment on the investigation since it’s “open,” means the case “will stay open indefinitely until they can figure out conclusively what happened,” as one legal expert put it. The case was reopened last year when authorities said they were contacted by people who said they had additional information about the case. The actress was 43 when she fell from a boat off Catalina Island while vacationing with her husband, the actor Robert Wagner.
